BATA Baseball Machines Return / Warranty / Shipping Policy

     Please check the contents of your shipment when you receive it. If anything appears damaged or missing, BATA must be notified within 5 BUSINESS DAYS from receipt of shipment. Any items that are backordered will be shipped to you as soon as they become available.

     Before returning merchandise, you must contact our customer service department at 1-800-762-2282 to request Return Authorization. Without Return Authorization, your package(s) may be refused and sent back to you.

     When calling, please have your invoice number and your item's serial number (if applicable).


RETURN POLICY

     BATA will accept returns up to 30 days after the original ship date. Items must be delivered to BATA within the 30-day period. A 25% restocking charge will apply. Customer will be liable for shipping charges both to and from BATA, and for any damage to the item. Item must be returned in it's original packaging.

     A 10% Restocking Charge will apply when a shipped order is refused by the consignee. Customer will also be liable for shipping charges.

     If an item is delivered to the customer damaged, or it is defective, BATA will replace or repair it at no charge. A damaged item must be noted (to UPS) upon delivery of the item, and reported immediately to BATA.


WARRANTY RETURNS

     Please refer to your instruction manual before calling, and find out the name of the damaged or defective part. When a part is damaged or defective, it must be returned to BATA for credit.

     Some parts are prorated after the first year. They are as follows:
Motor
Speed Controller Circuit Board
Potentiometer (switch)
Pitching Wheel

     Some parts are covered 100%. They are as follows:
All structural metal parts

     Some parts are not covered. They are as follows:
Lock handles
Hardware (nuts and bolts)
Leg tips

     When an item is returned, a determination will be made as to whether the item is "damaged" or "defective". If evidence shows that the part is damaged rather than defective, no credit will be given. If the item is determined to be defective, the part or item will be repaired or replaced, and the cost prorated if applicable.

If an item or part is returned for warranty, customer pays to ship the part back to BATA. BATA will pay the shipping charges for the replacement part or item if the part or item is determined to covered under warranty.

Replacement parts or items are shipped via UPS Ground Service (when shipping charges are being paid by BATA). Customer will pay shipping charges if a faster shipping service is requested.

Transference of Warranty - The factory warranty is only transferable if the item is serviced/inspected by BATA at the time of the sale (30 days before or after).


SHIPPING

Orders are shipped in the order that we receive them. Orders are generally shipped within 3 business days. We ask that you allow 5-10 business days for delivery (depending on geographic location).

     We DO NOT guarantee ship dates unless "Priority Service" is ordered. There is a 10% surcharge for Priority Service ($50 minimum). Delivery dates are not guaranteed unless Priority Service and UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3-Day services are ordered.
